Ninedirect
Ninedirect are a specialist IT recruitment consultancy based in Thornbury. In partnership with Swim Design, we built the original site in 2004. In 2006 the client asked us to redevelop the site to include some major functionality enhancements.
Candidates can register and create their own profile (including uploading their CV). While logged in, they can modify their profile, participate in member-only competitions and apply for vacancies posted on the site. Clients can also register via the website and can access a special mini-site, which contains an online questionnaire for them to provide feedback.
The site utilises various pieces of flash, an advanced vacancy search facility including postcode finder, a 'Great Rate' calculator and system-generated email alerts for registration and competition notifications.
The site features an extensive bespoke admin system, the highlight of which is an advanced candidate matching facility. This allows consultants to match vacancies to candidates (searching using any data record within their profile including uploaded CV) as well as matching candidates to vacancies (searching using any vacancy criteria).
The website currently receives around 30 new candidate registrations per week and is hosted with Box Design
